The plot revolves around a distant couple whose relationship is strained by constant arguments, unexpressed resentment, and a lack of mutual understanding (5:35). Everything changes when a mysterious stranger enters their home. Instead of selling merchandise, this enigmatic figure presents an unusual proposal—offering to buy abstract, spiritual elements of their lives that they seem to no longer value, including their memories, dreams, and even their souls (7:42). As the bizarre negotiation unfolds, the mirror is held up to the couple's faded love and long-buried grievances (17:43). The high-stakes psychological interaction serves as an unexpected wake-up call, stripping away the bitterness and forcing them both into a profound realization of what they stand to lose before their bond is completely broken.
