On her third anniversary, Areesha stages her own kidnapping and a fake assault to escape her toxic, obsessively possessive husband, Ahmad, knowing his fragile ego will immediately force him to divorce her. The plan works, but her criminal partner double-crosses her, stealing the 3 Crore ransom money and leaving her stranded. The entire dark sequence is ultimately revealed to be a cautionary vision flashing through Areesha's mind right before she walks out the door with her husband.
